A connection
and love of flowers.
Hello Flower Community. I’m Dina Bennet Roe, gardener and founder of Henly House.
Inspired by nature, Henly House is a cut flower garden and floral design studio located near Dripping Springs in the Texas Hill Country, between Austin and San Antonio. We provide hand-tied bouquets for weddings and elopements, gift bouquets for all occasions, annual flower subscriptions, and a la carte wedding services. We not only value sustainability — with our organic growing practices and fragrant, fresh-from-the-garden roses and flowers like dahlias, sunflowers, zinnias, herbs, annuals, perennials, and wildflowers — but also support love and inclusion for all couples and communities.
My husband, Kevin, and I discovered this sweet little property in 2016. It was love at first sight for both of us. Creating Henly House and this garden at the heart of my business over the years has given me a greater sense of purpose and connection than I could ever imagine.

The Journey to Flowers
Through my completion of the Texas Master Gardeners program, I learned about the unique Texas Hill Country soil and climate and how to grow on a limestone ridge from the ground up using the No-Dig method.
After dividing our property into different sections, I filled each area with native perennials, flowering trees, shrubs, roses, and native grasses and wildflowers. I became a “rain catcher” of water by adding native grasses and wildflowers to our property year after year to help improve and amend our region’s lack of topsoil.
While immersing myself in books, history, workshops, and online courses for the past five years, I also freelanced with other floral designers and flower farmers in my area and abroad to learn design using sustainable methods and local flowers.
It’s also been a great mission of mine to travel and visit the great gardens of the world to learn more about their owners, growing practices, and stories. It inspires me to continue my journey of discovery and to meet other gardeners and stewards while building my own garden. It is heartwarming to discover this shared connection with the land and love of flowers and nature with sustainability and organic growing at the heart of it.
